Zusammenfassung
Wir schreiben das Jahr 1989. 12 Jahre sind seit der Invasion der Gogoh-Armee auf der Erde vergangen. Der Kontakt mit außerirdischer Technologie während des Krieges ermöglichte es der Erde, ihre eigenen Technologien in großen Sprüngen weiterzuentwickeln. Internationale Konflikte, die zuvor in der Geschichte der Menschheit weit verbreitet waren, sanken auf einen historischen Tiefstand, und die Erdföderation wurde als einheitliche Erdregierung gegründet. Die Weichen für eine Ära nie dagewesenen Wohlstands waren gestellt.

Armed Seven is a worthy genre piece. It is an easy recommend for any shmup fan out there, and though its short length may turn some off (it only has six levels), the brutal, merciless nature of the game, and the robust controls should be more than entertaining enough to encourage you to come back to try to master at least one combination of weapons.
How surprising, another indie game with a retro feel to it. Even though Armed Seven works fine, there is nothing fresh and new to experience while playing this 2D shooter. Too bad, cause through the pixels you can feel the love that the developer put into it.
In a world littered with indie games trying hard to be nostalgic and missing the mark, it is nice to play a game that truly captures that 16-bit experience.
